Since 2021, the EU Waste Framework Directive (WFD)1 has required companies to submit information on products containing Substances of Very High Concern above 0.1% w/w to the European Chemicals Agency. We understand the significance of the WFD directive and REACH2 regulation, both of which aim to restrict the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
At Ouman, we hold a strong commitment to upholding regulatory compliance and recognize the importance of adhering to all applicable laws and guidelines. In addition to our internal efforts, we work closely with our suppliers and partners to promote transparency and encourage their compliance with the WFD directive and REACH regulation. As an assembler of electronic products, Ouman is reliant on the information communicated by our component manufacturers and suppliers, and we strive to establish strong relationships with suppliers who share our commitment to transparency and regulatory compliance. Recognizing our role, we embrace the responsibility of acquiring and conveying information on substances contained in our products to the entire supply chain.
With this declaration, we hereby announce that the products offered by our company are free from substances of very high concern (SVHC) with the exception of the specific cases listed in the table below.
